About Us

At Westside Physicians Clinic, we have a unique system designed to maximize both the patient's recovery and settlement. Our three-tract program is custom-tailored for each individual patient, while being geared toward medical-legal presentation. Treatment is a collaborative effort between medical and chiropractic doctors and their team, which continues throughout the patient's recovery.

In the first visit, a comprehensive history is taken, and the patient is evaluated by the orthopedic surgeon. X-rays are taken, and medication is prescribed for the initial period of pain and inflammation. Here, the medical doctor refers the patient to the chiropractic doctor for the physical medicine treatment. Both doctors then confer to resolve conflicts, and to establish goals and proper treatment for the patient. During this first phase, the chiropractor will follow closely any traumatic brain injury, and design a specific physical therapy plan.

In two weeks, the patient will again see the orthopedic surgeon for re-evaluation. At this time, the doctor will determine the patient's need to continue or terminate his drug treatment program. From here, the chiropractor will establish a stretching and strengthening routine designed to dissolve any residual scar tissue.

Throughout the treatment, our front-desk operation helps insure that the patient remains on-track for his recovery, while keeping the attorney abreast of general progress. The front desk will advise the attorney of any missed appointment by the client, while keeping meticulous records on his case.

Finally after the patient has been re-evaluated and determined ready for discharge, the patient's case is transferred to our legal department. Here, details and facts are verified, and records are complied into a comprehensive presentation of the case. The clear and intelligible manner in which these documents are presented allows the attorney to negotiate a better settlement for the client.
